Vegetarians are generally healthier and live longer than
non-vegetarians. Vegetarian nutrition is the set of carbohydrates,
omega-6 fatty acids, dietary fibre, carotenoids, folic acid, vitamin C,
vitamin E, potassium and magnesium. However, it can be considered low
in protein, iron, zinc, vitamin B12, calcium and other nutrients.
Vegetarian recipes can be collected from cookbooks, relatives, friends,
and represented by various cooking categories such as appetizers,
beans, bread, burritos, casseroles, dinner pies, pasta, pizza, rice,
salad, sandwich, snacks, soup, stir fry, subs, tofu, sweets.
Becoming a vegetarian doesn't automatically mean that you'll lose
weight. Vegetarian weight loss can occur on the condition that you
don't have big helpings of high-fat protein sources like
cheese and peanut butter, salad dressing and fried foods. Choose
soy-based alternates for milk, cheese and yogurt. Make sure these
products are fortified with calcium, vitamin D and riboflavin for
optimum health.
Weight loss
program regards non-diet approaches that typically involve
addressing behavioral or emotional issues, and focusing on the pleasure
of eating; fitness programs; workout plans and diet. According to the
latter one, breakfasts should have 350 to 450
calories, lunches and dinners have 400 to 500 calories, and snacks have
100 to 200 calories.
